What is Daydream?
Daydream, also known as the Daydream app or Daydream AI, is an immersive video roleplay app for iPhone and Android. You step into a story as its main character, watch each scene play out as cinematic AI video, and decide what happens next. Every choice you make becomes the next scene.
How the Daydream app works
Pick a story, then watch its opening scene. Daydream writes and films each new scene from your point of view, with characters who speak their lines out loud. When a scene ends, choose one of the suggested moves or write your own, and the story continues from exactly what you chose.
Daydream video, one choice at a time
Each turn plays as a short cinematic clip. The story remembers the people, places, and decisions already in your world, so every scene picks up where the last one left off. Stories branch, so the same opening can lead somewhere completely different for every player.
Create and share your own stories
Have an idea? In Daydream you can create a story from a premise: its world, its characters, and how it opens. Publish it, and other players can explore it and take it somewhere new.

Daydream is free to download. Each new video scene uses gems, which you can buy in packs or get with a membership.

Are the characters in Daydream real people?
No. Every character, line of dialogue, and scene in Daydream is AI-generated fiction, not a message from a real person.
Who can use Daydream?
Daydream is for people 13 and older. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
